Geekmade is a site written by Ben Aldred. The aim is to teach and share knowledge across the community about code, design, the industry and also to spark experimentation, hacking and general geekery.

Technology
Geekmade is powered by Wordpress and has a custom template built and designed by me, originally based on the Sandbox theme. The theme uses Microformats and valid XHTML (the CSS will not validate as it uses browser specific rules for some design elements). It has a MySQL database and is hosted on Dreamhost, which is a green host.

Data
Geekmade only publishes RSS 2.0 feeds to promote standards for syndication and RDF to share extra data and encourage data portability.
